For Amy Daniel-Moser, a.salon was never just a dream — it was a mission. After years as a color specialist at some of Chicago’s most respected salons, she set out to create a space rooted in kindness, craftsmanship, and conscious beauty.
A lifelong lover of people, animals, and the planet, Amy believes great hair shouldn’t come at the environment’s expense. At a.salon, she brings that vision to life every day — helping guests feel like their best selves while using cruelty-free products and diverting 95% of salon waste from landfills.
Amy splits her time between Pilsen and Lincoln Park. She’s also a proud wife to her business partner, Rudy, and mom to their son, Evander — and Bunny, their rescued pup.

JR’s love for hair started early — long before formal training, he was already creating transformations. Today, he brings that same curiosity, creativity, and heart to every guest in his chair.
With decades of experience behind the chair and on stage, JR’s work has been featured in O, The Oprah Magazine and across industry shows and photoshoots. His approach is rooted in authenticity — helping clients see their inner confidence reflected outward.

Stephanie brings over a decade of experience and a designer’s eye for shape, texture, and movement. With a background in theatre and fine art, her work balances lived-in softness with precision and structure.
Trained by Paul Mitchell, Joico, Wella, Aveda, and KEVIN.MURPHY, she specializes in curly and textured hair, including Rezo-certified cutting techniques.
